This and its predecessor, Demon's Souls (which is no longer actively supported), are the best RPG's of this era. If you haven't played them, due to lack of console/whatever; TRUST ME, pick this series up.

Frustrating at some points yeah, but the payoff is fun.
You get used to the dying :P

Oh yeah, still a great game. It just has no "give" which might drive some people crazy. Like, one misstep, even if it seems basic, can kill you. The fights are tense, and it's awesome. I remember in demon soul, I found this chick (can remember her name, maybe something Butcher) in this room on the first level. She murdered me. I decided I needed to kill her, she murdered me a lot. I finally figured out a way to kill her, but it was probably a 20 minute or so fight of me dodging her massively damaging swings and getting in small, quick hits. I died a few times from impatience and missteps, but finally after a couple of attempts, I killed the bitch (like a said, probably 20 minutes of me chipping away at her). It was pretty sweet.

I don't remember which world it is, maybe 4-1? I started it, took a few steps and a skeleton knight rolled toward me, took one swing and I died. I was jus like, what the fuck just happened?
