Interesting. Guessing they're targeting a fall premier? I'm a little wary of an action-oriented prequel making heavy use of CG. It'll seem out of place like the StarWars prequels were. Besides, the action wasn't what made BSG so great -- it was the characters, the drama, and the mythology of it all. At least imo. Hope they understand that.

It's a damn shame they didn't stick with Caprica. That was such a good show.

Wow, bummer. You didn't miss too much. The obligatory shot of a young Adama climbing into his original Viper cockpit with "Husker" painted on the side. Lots of space combat. A few shots of presumably cylons, but looked more like the later models from BSG -- not the "old" ones -- even though it takes place 10 years into the first cylon war.

That was fast, Syfy has shelved the series.

That sucks. Does Syfy have any decent shows running right now? The Blood & Chrome pilot episode they shot must've been really bad if they're canning it already. The last sentence is hopeful though:

"The 90-minute pilot movie will air on Syfy in its entirety at a future date."

Sounds like they're just moving the series to the web instead of TV, so hopefully we'll still get the story eventually.

I have moved away from Syfy for now since they canceled SGU. I watch alittle warehouse 13 online, isn't that great it's ok. Other stuff on Syfy I just haven't gotten into since SGU cause it didn't seem that good. Been more towards AMC, HBO, Stars is where the action has been atm. I would like a good sci-fi show. Good thing Falling skies comes back this summer.

good thing Canada doesn't have to deal with syfy, but then again we get every show a week late.
