So Yoox, what is it about PoE that you like better than D3? Thinking I might check out PoE after I'm done with D3.

I haven't played D3, from all I talked to the endgame that kept people addicted to D2 wasn't going to be part of D3. I have a few minor reasons for keeping me away. Mainly I'm tired of sellout companies turning their games into as much money they can exploit gamers out of. While wow and sc are still good it just seemed like they were setting D3 up for making as much money they could from the start, quickly turned me away. I understand that it's a business, but as a gamer I play these games for fun first. We all know once gaming companies sellout the quality of their games quickly follow cause they go from people making games for gamers to people making games for money being their only reason.
PoE is great. Read their boards, they listen to their players, they are trying to make a great game. They are adding endgame this patch(9.11) with the new skill tree. Act 3 comes with open beta(9.13). Plus I had a lot of fun playing with the GoL crew till Chris(ggg) made Blake cry for not letting his shocklar into alpha hah. I never stoped having fun with it, we just took a break till it was closer to release. Hopefully it turns out to be a good game, I think it will. |
