Lost S5 E10 "He's our you"

"He's our you" he looks nothing like sayid! So they give him truth syrum? He talks and they don't believe him.

I love how Hurley is the chef. Makes me laugh.

Just wow how that one ended.

I had said to melissa, why the hell doesn't sayid just snap his neck, about halfway through. Then I had convinced myself that there was no way he could kill him, because that would make no sense. Then POW right in the kisser. Thats all i got.

Agreed Rufus. Ever since the episode a couple weeks ago when they first showed Ben as a kid on the island, it seemed like the obvious choice to just kill him. But I couldn't imagine them actually doing it. So... pretty predictable, yet at the same time shocking.

It was a pretty dull episode, even if the ending was a little predictable it was more exiciting than the first 40 minutes. After how good the season started, it's been pretty blah since Locke died.

I'm actually enjoying the season. I like how it was set up like you chouldn't change things, but things are being changed. But in the ultimate end things might just end up the same with some weird twist. I'm looking forward to see how things end up in 70's since how the season started back in the future it looked like things ended up the same or worse.

After thinking about how the season began i'm leaning towards now since Ben is killed might be the reason why the island is a wasteland. But since Locke talks to Christan in the beginning he might be sent back in time to stop what happens. Since the outcome was obviously not a good/right one?

Maybe there is more behind Bens madness? Besides his jealously of Locke possibly taking over his role in the whole islands thing-a-ma-jig.

pretty sure this proves now that Ben is a Cylon.

Friday nights will never be the same.

yeah, i have to admit. Last night i got home and realized i didn't have a show to watch. It was so routine. Now i got nothing.

Thinking about it, I don't think young Ben is dead after he was shot. The island has some way of returning life (in at least some form) to those that are it's current guardians/keepers is what I get from it. Ben isn't really relieved of his duty as protector (according to himself) almost to the present day, when John Locke takes over, and early on in the series (when they are time traveling a few seasons ago and see Claire giving birth) I think they say something along the lines of you can only observe, you can't change what happens. Since Ben is obviously alive long enough to become an adult I don't think he ever dies as a child, but I do agree and think it has something to do with how the island turned into a real shithole for pregnant girls.

WTB less questions and more answers, probably going to have to wait until next fall though. /sigh.
