I saw the January 17th date last week on the digital castration blog. I also talked to Gamestop about it yesterday, their tentative date is March 2nd. They also said that it is far from firm and they would be surprised if that date stuck since its the same day as Mass Effect 3.

More bad news for diablo fans. If you are planning on making money in D3 look at this.
