I saw this tonight... it was actually pretty good, better than I expected. Place was fuckin packed as I expected it to be. I'm still not exactly sure what the fuck the monster is :\

oh i thought of a good way to describe the thing, a giant zergling that drops little zerglings that bite you and make you asplode goblin style KA-BOOOM

Better than I expected, worth the ticket price for sure.

see, i heard people laughed when they saw the monster.

In my opinion, the emphasis of the movie is not really on the monster itself, but on the emotions people go through in a crisis, trying to survive. It's really quite affecting. The monster was, at least for me, kind of secondary.

i liked it. wish they could of given it more of an ending.... probly leaving it open for a 2nd one
