There's so much great Star Wars material out there, it's a shame we don't have more movies.

still though, the fact that get Star wars alone is gonna be worth that, and they get indiana jones, and lucas cant ruin anymore star wars movies :o lets hope disney does better than he did

Perhaps. Either way, it's $4B more than George Lucas needs at this point. I'm betting he was kind of done with it all and just wanted to cash out. And since he wasn't going to do anything more with his franchises, Disney is betting they can revive them the way they did with Marvel.
