It's definitely an amazing game, Grupp. I had extremely high expectations for it, and it's surpassing even those. Totally agree with Fusa though -- definitely not worth paying for the deluxe.
I highly recommend finishing DA1 and DA2 before playing DA3 though. It's not that you'd be lost without playing the previous games -- DA3 stands on its own just fine. There are tons of references to the previous games though, and the choices you've made in them have repercussions in DA3. You'll enjoy the hell out of those moments if you played through DA1 and 2. Alternatively, you can go through
Dragon Age Keep to select all the important decisions from the first two game that you can then import into DA3.
