So, I can't watch "most" videos on my comp. such videos as cut scenes in warcraft 3 and any kill videos or pvp videos that are saved to my comp. what happens is the screen is just really really dark, I can sometimes make out the outlines of things but thats it. I updated quicktime and have wmp11, no idea what else to do.

Update video card drivers maybe?
Also could be a DirectDraw problem, but I doubt it. |

If you have an Nvidia card try this. I know it sounds odd but my boss just had the exact same issue last week. He contacted the vid card manufacturer and it turns out he had to go back and use the Feb 07 Nvidia drivers. That fixed the problem for him.
