Spartacus returns with a prequel series

Spartacus: Gods of the arena, 6 part series on stars.

For anyone who watched Spartacus: Blood and sand http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1442449/ which was great last year. The main star(Spartacus)(Andy Whitfield) has cancer which they thought they got rid of last year and it came back I think late last year. They were planning a S2, but now not sure after this prequel series cause of the cancer, which sux. Spartacus fans enjoy it while it lasts.

Last i heard it was in remission. I did like the show but as i alas i can no longer watch it...sigh.

I like the new series so far. I bet this incident at the end is what drives a wedge between Solonius(sp?) and Batiatus as they disagree on what recourse to take.
