lol, i mis-read that completely. yeah i wanted a 560 but shit it was another 100 bucks, and the performance increase wasn't enough for me to do that yet. besides ill SLI another 550 and call it good when i get more cash.

You should have got that asus mobo that like has it's own cooling case, also quad channel memory > dual ftw
Also, no SSD and corsair PSU > antec

i agree with onion and why u buying such a huge PSU when ur only gonna run a single card?
edit: the 550 Ti benchmarks pretty low too Last edited by Kz; 09-30-2011 at 08:20 PM. |

id get a 750W PSU Corsair and a 560 or 560 Ti. the 560 benchmarks almost 1000 points higher than the 550 Ti ( which is only 192 bit. instead of 256 like the 560 series.) if u want to SLI them eventually its recommended that you at least have 800W but i dont think u will need to SLI this card at all.
save 50$ on psu and the gpu gonna cost u about another 90-100$ so overall 50$ more expensive i think you will like it a lot more. Last edited by Kz; 09-30-2011 at 08:42 PM. |
