Heads up, MMO fans -- there's a new player on the scene. Industry vets J. Todd Coleman and Gordon Walton have come together to form ArtCraft, a studio that's making a mystery MMO with "real skill, real risk, and real consequences."

"We're building something completely different, completely unique. We believe the MMO industry has grown stale. It's time to create something new," Coleman stated. Coleman and Walton have worked on many MMOs, including Shadowbane, Wizard101, Ultima Online, and Star Wars Galaxies, and they say they are building an "all-star" team for this new project.

The teaser website for the game asks, "Where did we go wrong?" with the MMO industry and vows to take chances with this new game. There's a countdown timer on the site (62 days as of the writing of this article) and a sign-up for the beta.

Wow play2crush. That's shadowbane people or people that played shadowbane, go wolfpack. I'll read the rest later, headline was enough for me to know what play2crush means. This will probably be good.

Edit: Signed up for the beta. Sounds like shadowbane and looks like shadowbane. Funny cause they guys recreating the shut down shadowbane just got it online not to long ago. http://shadowbaneemulator.com/ Lots of good memories from shadowbane.

Ok, I'm intrigued now. Sounds like a mix of PoE leagues and EQNext. Will be interesting to see how it shakes out over the coming years.

This game looks really good. I really like the art style. More than that the concepts they talk about in the video sound amazing. I really hope they can do this right. Might even donate some $$ to get into beta.

I like the ideas behind it. I like the who's behind it. The games these guys worked on are some of the games I really enjoyed. I'm very interested in the ways they are planning on solving the endgame for this game. Sounds fun and different from the normal mmo. Even tho PoE gets boring at times I keep going back when it refreshes so. I think this will probably get me playing. Might donate. I'll see how the kickstarter goes if they will reach the goal.
