Totally agree. I remember reading that the writers didn't have plans to say much more about the numbers, so I was surprised to even see them show up in last night's episode. I thought they pretty much wrapped up that piece of the puzzle outside of the show via the Lost Experience game (the
Valenzetti equation Vayd referred to). But if that were the case, it really doesn't make sense for Jacob to be using the numbers, so I have no idea anymore.
