Nucho

You been to the Blind Tiger Brewery yet? I was up there this weekend for a wedding shower. Excellent brews if you happen to be a beer enthusiast, food there is pretty good also. Probably the first part of Topeka that I can say I've actually ever liked

Yep, although I didn't have any of their beer (not that I drink anyway!). I think I had their brisket and fries and I remember it being pretty good.

Hmm I might have to order some take out from there this week now that you have me thinking about it....lol

Were you a Cali guy before? If so, welcome to the land of good eats! I'm not sure if he's still out in Dallas and brought you there, but one of my favorite restaurants ever isn't too terribly far away, just north of the border in Oklahoma. A place called Stephenson's BBQ where a Louisiana guy decided to combine Cajun with Texas BBQ...I like to think of him as the black Santa!

I've always wanted to try the Salt Lick after seeing that bit, hopefully one day I get to.

Wasn't my first time - I usually stick to the same menu choice if I like so I got the brisket again and it was probably the 2nd best I've ever had.
