I'm sure it's possible, but I'm a little skeptical too. We've seen hints of it in games like WoW (e.g. flame leviathan, malygos) and SWtoR. The article brings up a good point about a potential problem with the lack of holy trinity:

Unfortunately, EverQuest Next's lack of a trinity bears worrisome of what I call the "faceless" group play of games like Guild Wars 2, in which you play with many people but never have cause to learn their names.

If they can create encounters that require actual skill to differentiate between good and bad players, and not needing traditional healer/tank/dps roles, it could be a glorious thing.

Landmark is the content creation tool part of the game, right? I'll pass on that and wait for the actual game to be released.
