Wireless card + Vista 64 problems
So I just moved and my wireless card is my only source of internet until Tuesday. The problem is that it will not fucking work on my vista 64 desktop.
Brief description of what happens.. I click connect but it automatically disconnects me or just fails to connect. This is a screen capture of the sprint program reading the card, the signal, and telling me to connect. I thought it may be drivers, but all drivers are up to date and this is how it looks in the device manager. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times. Both admin and not admin. The one gut feeling I have is that it may have something to do with vista services I may have disabled. Like most vista users, I disable a ton of useless shit like UAC as soon as I reformat. I may have disabled a service that allows GSM/CDMA etc cards from working. I looked over them, but I could not spot one with a description that fit. Any input would be much appreciated. I've heard of this happening before with Vista. Try these two links.
