These are my current stats

Sweet dark brotherhood set, I get to contract kill people now!

I'm thinking nord for my 2h melee toon, I debated orc but nord has 50% frost resist.

Holy crap that's a lot of stam.

I went wood elf because they allegedly were the best archers, but the starting skill bonus is inconsequential in the long run, it turns out. Apparently they get 50% resist to poison and disease though. Maybe that's been great, maybe not. Hard to tell so far.

The 50% fire/frost resist is pretty amazing. Hard to resist that for a melee character. The Orc racial seems pretty great too tho -- take half dmg and deal double dmg for 60 seconds? I'm guessing it's only once a day, but still. Tough choice.

Yeah I was not to worried about start stats really. I'm thinking 50 extra magic with high elf is the way to go for my caster. Overall tho i'm leaning towards making another dark elf for the 50% fire resist. Thing about the resists is that you can get the 40% resist rings for heavy casting and dragon encounters. 90% fire or frost is just to good for owning fire/frost dragons and heavy caster encounters.

I went overboard on the stamina but it's well worth it for looting/ and never running out of slowing a fight down with bow or running in with weapons hot to rape something. It's why I don't have much problems with fights. I felt comfortable with health around there was thinking of raising to 300. Just didn't put anything into magic due to deciding not to do much in magic.

Asano if you haven't yet make sure you do some smithing it will help with killing stuff. 2 points alone help much with upgrating your armor and weapons. Upgrate magic gear.

Yeah, I've been slowly skilling it up (at 70 now), but only spent my first couple points in it last night. The armor and weapon upgrades *are* significant. And being able to upgrade magic armor/weapons was well worth the 2 points. I'll be spending more points there until I can craft Daedric weapons.

Think it'll be worth going 100 smithing for the dragon bone armor, or is the Brotherhood armor good enough to be your end-game gear?

My bow is Daedric, there is no dragon bow. I'm using cloth mage armor so not really sure if dragon is worth it or not. I made the dragon armor set for my companion, but it didn't blow me away at how good it was compared to other stuff (I can give you exact numbers later if you want)

I looked over numbers, if you can enhance it(grind stone or work bench) it's better than the class sets.

I found a 35% pickpocket neck and a 30% better sneak ring. 50% frost boots and 50% fire something. Want to dischant and use that stuff when I have double enchant.
