We beat WotLK. Next Up: Cataclysm


Once again, we beat the game. It seemed like the gods were against us tonight. First we waited 90 mins while our priest battled Charter Communications to get his internet connection up. Then we lost attempts with various LDs from others. But once we got everyone online, the Lich King quickly discovered just how prepared we were for this fight.

Countless hours of work studying logs and videos were clocked over the past month. A couple people geared up and played offspecs. Another rerolled a completely different class specifically for this fight. We pulled out all the stops, and nothing was going to stop us. Not losing our MT to real life; not temporarily losing our hunter to part-time employment; not having to gear up a brand new priest; not the lack of 25-man gear; nothing.

Officially, we logged the #436 World, #118 US kill for H:LK, which brings our total guild rank to #415 World, #112 US. Not too shabby for a 10-man only guild.

Congrats to everyone for an amazing accomplishment! Special thanks to Orlandin who put in an insane amount of time studying the fight and developing our strategy.

Cataclysm here we come!
