Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen

Edit: New website. They are still trying to make this game after kickstarter didn't reach it's goal.

Looks like Brad McQuaid is trying to remake Everquest. I'd play this!

Stretch goals. After looking at these, they are really trying to remake everquest. Getting a little excited.

They should just raise the initial goal to $4M. It's not going to be much of a game without most of those stretch goals.

Oh I agree completely. It won't feel like Eq without at least 4M worth of that content. I like that they are trying to remake the magic of the first game. We'll see how much money they raise.

There really wasn't much pvp in the first Eq. Was fun when they first started doing some tournaments in Eq back in the day for pvp. Enjoyed dotting everyone up with my necro while running circles.

Well UO had it's style of pvp which was amazing. After playing Eq pve for a few years, getting to play some pvp again even if the game wasn't designed for pvp was fun since not pvping in so long of a time. So to answer your question Nuch, yep.

Don't think this will reach it's goal. Would be nice to see something new instead of the same exact stuff.

No, I don't think it will either. Kickstarters that fall off their momentum (especially that far before even the initial goal) generally don't regain it.

Not only that, but the game doesn't really look that good, and the MMO market is really crowded, especially with ESO and Wildstar in the near future. A year ago? This probably would have done really well.

I'm not a fan of McQuaid, so I am not all that sad to see this falter.
